Christmas Cards for 2006

As usual, there are two good quality designs. One is of an atmospheric view of two passenger trains passing at Manningham station in 1907; the other is of staff on the Up platform at Stretton station, taken c.1918. The cards are available in packs of 10 (5 of each design) and cost £3.50 post free from Roy Burrows, 10 Cornfield Way, Ashton-under-Hill, Evesham, Worcestershire, WR11 7TA. Cheques should be made payable to the "Midland Railway Society". Packs will also be available at the Local History Fair at Chesterfield on 29th October and the Society's meeting at Derby on 18th November. Postage will not be charged on these, of course, and any packs that can be collected from Roy (and a limited number held by Glynn Waite for the meetings). The cost of these will be £3.00.
